Hiking TOURS
WALK THE ELWHA
This 2 mile hike is a great way to enjoy the beauty of the forest as well as learn about the Elwha river and the Elwha dam removal. Removal and restoration began in 2011 and at the time it was the largest dam removal in the world. The river is once again home to wild salmon and you can expect big trees, ferns, mushrooms on the trail to the river. Take in epic views from the site of the former dam where restoration is taking place.

Land acknowledgement
Tours take place on the historic homeland and territory of indigenous people. We acknowledge the 8 tribes of the Olympic Peninsula whose land and water we benefit from. We operate with gratitude for these original caretakers to heal our relationships as well as honor and learn from their heritage.
